Prevention RTU Spray has received an EPA approved label claim for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The product has been validated by independent testing and proven efficacious against SARS-CoV-2, following a contact time of one minute. Prevention RTU Spray also appears on the EPA’s List N, which identifies disinfectants that are appropriate for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 – this can be found by searching the product’s EPA registration number (74559-9)

When using the larger 1-gallon RTU size to refill spray bottles, ensure any secondary containers are emptied, rinsed and dried prior to refilling with new solution to make certain it’s effective every time. Remember also to place on a workplace label and write the expiration date on any new bottles, for easy identification.

If you are storing Prevention RTU solution in a new secondary container such as a spray bottle, printed workplace/secondary product labels are available to allow you to record important product information and the expiration date of the solution. These secondary labels can be downloaded and printed or ordered through your distributor of Prevention Disinfectants.

The Prevention dual trigger sprayer/foamer is a top-of-the-line sprayer that offers the option to be used for spraying or foaming. Simply close the mesh door to experience foaming. Benefits of foaming include better surface coverage, slower evaporation and reduced aerosolization. Every case of Prevention RTU comes with 2 trigger sprayers. If you need additional sprayers, they are available for purchase through your Prevention distributor.

Prevention RTU Spray can be used to disinfect quickly and effectively throughout your facility, following just four simple steps:

1. If required, pre-clean any visible dirt or debris from the surface.
2. Spray or foam the solution evenly onto the surface.
3. Allow the surface to remain wet for 1 minute.
4. Leave to air dry or if preferred, wipe any excess solution using a clean cloth.

In accordance with the SDS (Safety Data Sheet), Prevention Disinfectants do not carry any hazard statements or hazard pictograms, and do not require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling the product. We do still recommend the use of gloves as a general practice when disinfecting, to help minimize the risk of disease transmission.
